Our Saco, ME location has immediate full-time opening for a Production-Prefinish associate.

  • This position is responsible for pre-finishing doors using paint or stain in accordance with customer specifications and established company quality standards.
  • Adherence to company policies, rules, and regulations in all areas is required, including but not limited to, environmental, health, safety and security.
  • Support the company's mission and values by exhibiting the following behaviors: excellence and competence, collaboration, innovation, respect, personalization, commitment to our community, and accountability and ownership
  • Operates one or more machine tools and special purpose machines to specifications on production basis.
  • Lifts workpiece manually or using hoist and secures workpiece in fixture or loads automatic feeding device.
  • Starts machine, engages feed, and observes operation.
  • Inspects and measures machined workpieces to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Moves machine controls and guides to adjust machine.
  • Cleans and replaces worn machine accessories such as cutting tools.
  • Tends machines and equipment other than machine tools.
  • Assists in maintaining a clean and safe work area. Assists in taking physical inventory
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned


  • High School diploma or GED and one to two years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Familiarity with relevant inventory and manufacturing terminology.
  • Familiarity with door components and assembly techniques.
  • Familiarity with finishing products and techniques.
  • Basic analytical, reasoning, and math abilities.
  • Basic verbal communication skills.
  • Might require forklift certification, depending upon branch requirements.
  • Tools - Include but are not limited to: chop saw, table saw, rip saw, hand saw; router, nail gun, screw gun, door machine, various pneumatic tools, and drills
